Set of MONOKEY® Trekker Alaska side cases made of natural aluminum, 36 lts, with identical keys and third cylinder to mount in case of central case. Also available in the Black Line version.
Equipped with the MONOKEY® fixing system, they allow the opening and unhooking of the luggage rack with the same key and with a single lock. They are compatible with the tubular side supports PL_ _ _, PLR_ _ _, PLO_ _ _, PLOR_ _ _. For mounting on the PL and PLR luggage racks, it is necessary to mount two spacers included in the package between the tubular frame and the ki-rubbers.
The Trekker Alaska aluminum side cases are completely made in Italy, and the design is unprecedented and patented.
Materials:
There are 3 materials used and all of the highest quality: natural aluminium, stainless steel for the opening clasps and reinforced technopolymer for the profiles and belt passers.
Characteristics:
• WIRELEASE® SYSTEM: The cases can be disengaged from the side luggage rack by turning an external lever, equipped with a cable system (patent pending), located directly under the Security Lock lock. On the other hand, to hook the suitcase it is not necessary to turn the lever.
• HOLD IT EASY® SYSTEM: the Trekker Alaska is equipped with a hook system (patent pending) by means of which it can be tilted without completely disengaging from the luggage rack. This mechanical system has been specifically designed to prevent cases from accidentally falling and to facilitate the loading/unloading phases even in the presence of a very bulky central trunk, which could reduce access and opening of the lid. The "Hold It Easy" system is not compatible with some models of Monokey luggage racks (the system is included in the case and is supplied unhooked to avoid transport problems. The customer can choose whether to install it)
• The lid can be opened completely, without the use of straps or retaining cables that could produce a "guillotine" effect, thanks to the robustness and geometry of the rotation lock.
• Ergonomic handle integrated into the lid rotation closure, on the opposite side of the suitcase opening and unhooking mechanism.
• Four pass-throughs integrated into the monolithic structure of the lid, made with gradual plane changes that provide an elegant forma to the entire suitcase.
