The RX-7V represents the pinnacle of ARAI 's knowledge, experience and prowess as experts in helmet technology. With a PB-SNC² outer shell, the revolutionary VAS (Variable Axis System) for the visor and a considerably smoother area around the temples, the RX-7V is the benchmark helmet in the high-end segment. From the antimicrobial lining with an even slimmer frame, to the ducts, improved diffuser and integrated air channels, each piece is a testament to the attention to detail so typical of ARAI. ARAI has continuously improved the performance of "impact deflection" by learning from real scenarios. Thanks to the smoother and more resistant shell and the VAS system, the RX-7V brings us closer than ever to the forma of the ideal helmet. With the VAS system, the visor mounting position is lowered, allowing an average of 24mm more to be used around the areas of both temples, in search of the ideal smoothest forma that will increase the ability to dissipate impact energy. As a result, a smoother shell has been achieved along and below the test line of the Snell standard.
Outer shell:PB-SNC2 (Structural mesh compound with peripheral belt)
Arai's patented peripheral belt (Super Fiber strap), which has been borrowed from our F-1 technology, maximizes shell strength and flexibility while maintaining low weight. Placed along the top of the ventilation holes in the eye area, this band allows for a thinner EPS liner, which noticeably improves the upward field of vision, especially useful for running stunts! The structural network composite adds a physical bond to the resin adhesion of the numerous layers of fiber and reinforcing materials inside the shell. The newly formulated "Z-Mixture" resins allow the use of a greater amount of fiber with the same strength and rigidity, allowing us to create an even lighter and thinner outer shell without compromising safety.
Variable Axis System (VAS)
With the VAS system, the visor mounting position is lowered, allowing an average of 24mm more to be used around the areas of both temples, in search of the ideal smoothest forma that will increase the ability to dissipate impact energy. As a result, a smoother shell has been achieved along and below the test line of the Snell standard.
RX7-V Vent
The ventilation system that combines the air intakes with the diffusers, guarantees and maintains an optimal temperature, in any condition of use. The front air intake ensures an 11% higher intake airflow than the previous generation and, thanks to the opening/closing system, is even easier to operate. The diffusers have been lengthened by 20mm and can activate 19% more air, working in conjunction with the air wing to stabilise the hull at high speeds. The detachable chin strap helps eliminate turbulence and, thanks to the Venturi effect, maximizes the supply of fresh air to the air intake through the chin guard.
Free Flow System (FFS) – Sistema flusso libero
It generates an airflow under the helmet that reduces turbulence and wind noise while increasing the output of hot air.
Ventilation: Ventilation channel eye area
The air outlet routes from the eye area have been improved, passing it through an ad hoc air channel to a size 6 side opening, which improves its efficiency and reduces noise.
FRONT VENTILATION
Central top ventilation - inlet
The IC Duct5 duct allows for 11% more airflow than the previous Delta Duct5. The drive mechanism is now larger, allowing for easier opening and closing. The IC Duct5 duct has three positions: closed, semi-open, and fully open, to adjust airflow and prevent water from entering when fully closed.
Diffuser system
The diffusers are 20 mm longer and have been straightened in favor of aerodynamics, collaborating with the Air-Wing in improving stability. Compared to previous diffusers, the efficiency of the inlet baffles has increased by 19%. The air intake holes for ventilation not only offer more adjustability with their three positions of closed, semi-open and fully open, but also help to improve tightness, reducing wind noise and water ingress.
Extended front ventilation to the temple area
Fresh air can enter the helmet without the need to drill holes in an area that is statistically highly impacted. In some specific models, ventilation is also extended to the temple area.
Chin guard ventilation with three positions
The three-position chin guard ventilation makes it easy to eliminate fog in the visor and provides the rider with renewed fresh air.
REAR VENTILATION
Air outlet opening in the neck
To improve the extraction of hot air from the interior. Increases the ventilation effect in the lower part of the helmet.
Side air vents
They generate low pressure behind the rear vent opening to improve hot air extraction. Integrated into the shell for better aerodynamics, they reduce wind noise and prevent high-speed jolts. Inside, a small foam barrier facilitates the absorption and reduction of excess noise without diminishing ventilation performance.
AERODYNAMICS
Fold-out chin fin
It helps minimize wind noise and also makes it easier to draw warm air out of the face area. It provides additional capacity to divert projected materials from the road from the neck area.
Patented adjustable Air Wing®
Designed and tested in MotoGP to achieve a huge reduction in drag, turbulence and jolt, it guarantees more comfort and speed. It improves the stability of the helmet at high speeds or when braking hard and reduces noise. Depending on the model, adjustable in five different attack position angles to face all riding positions.
VIEWFINDER
VAS max vision display with anti-fog option
The VAS MAX Vision display is the standard for better visibility in all seasons and for all types of driving.
Screen Closure System
Inherited directly from our F1 helmet, the screen opening-closing system works on three axes and in the locked position, it closes the screen like never before. By lifting the system with a simple gesture (also with gloves) it is possible to activate the de-mist function or open the screen completely.
Pinlock Insert Lens
It effectively prevents the visor from fogging up or fogging, even in extreme wet conditions. It can be easily cleaned and changed.
INTERIOR
Antimicrobial interior padding
Helps maintain neutral acidity levels close to those of human skin and with antibacterial properties. To make the fit softer, deeper and even more comfortable, we have developed a softer material for the lining frame. The lining also has an adjustable padding on the temples that allows a parsonalized last.
Replaceable cheek pads / Earmuffs
The cheek pads/earmuffs can be easily disassembled. All parts (replaceable or not) can be cleaned with warm water and a mild detergent. After cleaning, the helmet should be rinsed thoroughly and should never be left to dry in direct sunlight or near a heat source. We have interior parts of different thicknesses and sizes to accommodate each pilot.
Remove by removing the front part first
Replace by inserting the back end first
Replaceable interior
The entire interior can be easily disassembled. All parts (replaceable or not) can be cleaned with warm water and a mild detergent. After cleaning, the helmet should be rinsed thoroughly and should never be left to dry in direct sunlight or near a heat source. We have interior parts of different thicknesses and sizes to accommodate each pilot.
Replaceable chin strap covers
All parts (replaceable or not) can be cleaned with warm water and a mild detergent. After cleaning, the helmet should be rinsed thoroughly and should never be left to dry in direct sunlight or near a heat source. We have interior parts of different thicknesses and sizes to accommodate each pilot.
Detachable neck pad
All parts (replaceable or not) can be cleaned with warm water and a mild detergent. After cleaning, the helmet should be rinsed thoroughly and should never be left to dry in direct sunlight or near a heat source. We have interior parts of different thicknesses and sizes to accommodate each pilot.
Speaker pockets
Integrated communication systems are very popular, but often the problem is space limitations for a speaker or simply that there is none, causing uncomfortable pressure points. It has special pockets that leave space for speaker mounting without affecting comfort or fit. (Speaker not included).
FCS (Facial Contour System)
Designed to offer an even tighter fit and improve comfort at the bottom of the chin, the FCS system works by means of a support made up of a foam spring in the cheek pad that compresses and bounces, providing the necessary support without excess pressure.
5mm "peel-off" ear loops/cheek pads
Providing more capacity for perfection in fit and comfort, the cheek pads include a 5mm peel-off layer for more space if needed.
Peel Away temple padding 5mm
The detachable temple and crown ARAI pads offer the option to enjoy 5 mm more inner width if necessary.
Slim center pad for more space in the front area
The Chaser-V PRO offers a thinner center pad. As a result, more space is available around the nose and mouth, further enhancing the comfort and fit so typical of ARAI.
COMFORT
Emergency Release System (ERS)
Allows easier access in case the rider is injured. The cheek pads can be removed by sliding by pulling the orange tabs integrated into them. This makes it easier for rescuers and medical personnel to remove the helmet. And the risk of further injury is minimized.

Nose cover
It works in conjunction with the Dual-Pivot® chin guard ventilation to better direct fresh air to the inner surface of the visor, while directing warm breathed air downwards to draw it away from the inner surface of the helmet.
Ankle Brace (Removable)
The lower part of the helmet has a fabric attached to cover the chin area that also accentuates the oval forma . This fabric has a dual function: it blocks the entry of air from below from turbulence and increases the negative pressure to improve the air outlet function of the FFS system, extracting more air from the mouth area. Improved airflow further reduces noise.
ARAI FEATURES
Divert
To reduce the impact energy entering the helmet as much as possible, it is essential that a helmet can slide on a surface. ARAI believed that a durable, rounded, smooth shell helps increase the helmet's ability to protect the rider during an impact. Shells with sharp edges or air intakes that do not break can reduce the hull's sliding capacity, transmit power to the hull, or even dangerously increase rotational energy.
Prospected five times
Each hull ARAI goes through five separate quality control departments: inspections after shell making, after painting and graphic finishing, after assembly, and two others during the process.
Washable interior
The premium interior of any helmet ARAI can be easily washed without removing it, with warm water and delicate soap.
Handmade
It can take up to five years for our experts to create a ARAI shell. Each shell can include up to 27 stages, and the making of a helmet ARAI takes around 18 hours.
All-day comfort
All-day comfort with ARAI forma and interior fit in conjunction with the highest quality lining materials and comprehensive ventilation system. Thanks to the perfection in the balance and weight distribution of the helmet, wearing a ARAI is barely noticeable.
Penetration tested
All helmets are ARAI penetration-tested, even though European standards do not require it. The ARAI penetration test is performed with a 3 kg test cone that impacts on the hull from a height of 3 m.
Double-D locking device
The flat and D- forma rings fit smoothly on the chin. With no moving parts or corrosion issues, simply pull the tab to loosen the fixation.
Forma smooth, better protection
The smoothest outer shell of the ARAI helmets is designed to slide without offering unnecessary resistance. It is not desirable to slow down the helmet more than necessary. This is why vents and ducts are designed to detach upon impact.
Hard outer shell, soft inner lining
Arai uses a very hard outer shell to distribute the impact forces and a soft inner lining to absorb the remaining energy. The multi-density EPS inner shell is manufactured using a unique technology that combines three to five densities in various areas as a single component.
Anatomical FORMA
The anatomical forma of the ARAI outer shell offers a more natural look, provides greater firmness and adapts better to the natural forma of the head to increase comfort and fit and to minimize air turbulence.
5-year limited warranty
All helmets ARAI have a warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, valid exclusively for the first properly accredited user and for 5 years from the date of first use, but never later than 7 years from the date of manufacture.
Different outer shells
Unlike many other manufacturers, ARAI offers an outer shell size for every two helmet sizes on most models. Together with the outer shells of different shapes for different models, it is practically impossible not to find what you are looking for.
Internal ARAI Testing
This helmet has ARAI been designed to meet the demanding requirements of the ARAI internal criteria, in addition to mandatory approval standards, such as ECE 22-05.
HOMOLOGATION
ECE 22-06
The most common international certification for helmets, required in more than 50 countries around the world.
